What this app stores

Swim Tracker stores the data needed to run an invite-only swimming log: your email address, sign-in provider identifiers, password hash if you use email sign-in, invite metadata, password reset metadata, and the Swim results you enter.

Swim results include date, stroke style, distance, time, and optional notes. Do not put medical details, contact details, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal information in notes.

How the data is used

Data is used to sign you in, protect access, display your results, calculate personal bests, chart progress, manage invites, send password reset emails, and maintain backups.

Team visibility

When you join a team, the Swim results you attach to that team — including date, stroke style, distance, time, and any notes — can be seen by your current teammates on the team milestone pages, not just by you. Do not put anything private in notes. These details stop being visible to a team once you leave it.

No advertising

This app does not sell user data, run ads, or share data with advertising networks. Service providers may process data only to operate the app, such as OAuth sign-in, email delivery, hosting, and backups.

Analytics

Tier 1 analytics is cookieless, non-personalized pageview measurement without analytics cookies or an app account ID. It can run for logged-out visitors and for logged-in accounts classified as adults that do not manage minor data. Google Tag Manager loads with Google Consent Mode v2 denied. Google LLC in the United States still receives the visitor IP address and the sanitized page address. The lawful basis for this pre-consent transfer is legitimate interests in understanding basic app usage while keeping the measurement cookieless and non-personalized.

Tier 2 analytics is optional personalized analytics for classified adult accounts only. If you consent, analytics cookies may be used and interaction events such as tile, menu, filter, sign-in, sign-up, and swim-result actions may be sent with an app account ID where the current event path uses one. You can withdraw this consent at any time; withdrawal stops the personalized tier immediately.

Logged-in unclassified accounts, minors, and accounts that manage a minor's data do not load analytics. Analytics never receives your email, display name, team name, result notes, invite or reset tokens, exact age, or date of birth.

Children and swimmer data

The app is invite-only and may include youth swimmer results. A parent, guardian, coach, or authorized adult should manage entries for minors unless the app admin has explicitly invited that swimmer to manage their own data.

Retention and requests

Account and result data is kept while the account is active. Signed-in users can export a ZIP archive of CSV files or schedule account deletion from Account privacy. Deletion locks the account immediately and final erasure runs after the rolling team windows have aged out. Some copies may remain in limited backups until those backups expire.
